Documentary photography of art and cultural heritage.

We make high resolution and colour accurate reproductions of art, in studio and on location. And we create art books: typography and design, colour separation and certified proofing. Clients include museums, artists, galleries, publishers, private collectors and researchers.

Museum quality

Paintings, drawings, photographs or other flat art works of any size are digitally documented according to the academic Metamorfoze / FADGI standards. Our high resolution digital files can safeguard art for future generations.

Clients: Meemoo – Art in Flanders, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, Ghent University, Mu.ZEE Ostend, FOMU Antwerp, Musea Brugge, Design Museum Ghent, …

Research

Cultural heritage researchers and art restorers need to study the smallest detail and often look beyond what’s visible to the human eye. We master specialised imaging techniques to make the invisible visible: macro photography – at near-microscopic level –, raking light, UV & IR photography. We also partner with computer modelling specialists for complete 3D photogrammetry models.

Sculpting light

To document art is to be inspired by art. And no documentation is ever entirely neutral. Sculptures and three-dimensional objects, in particular, require well-considered aesthetic lighting. Our photography enriches books, exhibition marketing or is exhibited as fine art.
